DirectVent Pro Horizontal Windguard For Rain Cap 46DVA-WG

The DirectVent Pro 4" x 6-5/8" Inner Diameter Galvanized Horizontal Windguard is a typical venting installation component. Its ideal use is with a through-the-wall termination cap where high winds are present. This product can also be used as a safety heat shield. When installed properly it can prevent children or others from coming into contact with the vent termination cap. This windguard fits terminations of two sizes, 4" x 6-5/8" and 5" x 8". 

You will get superb performance from this windguard which features tight inner connections. Neither gaskets nor sealants are required, unless specified by the appliance manufacturer. These all black pipe lengths, elbows, and pipe-extensions feature laser-welded outer wall seams, which complement its sleek finish. Applications
Designed for use with direct vent gas or propane stoves, fireplaces and heaters, DirectVent Pro is a unitized, coaxial (concentric) venting system.

Materials and Construction
.020" aluminum inner wall. .018" galvanized steel outer wall. Painted outer walls are made of laserwelded .018" galvalume steel. Caps are also available in copper and stainless steel. The inner pipe exhausts flue gases to the outside, while the outer pipe brings combustion air to the appliance. Unless specified by the appliance manufacturer, gaskets or sealants are not required.
